Swiss Grand Prix rider Philine Brunner has passed on the ride on her small tour horse Gaston to a Swiss pony rider as her junior riders hopeful.
Gaston is a 10-year old Danish warmblood by Grand Galaxy Win out of Finess (by Furstenball x Sam Sam). He is bred by Lisbeth Andersen.

The black Gaston sold to Philine Brunner (née von Bremen) as a youngster and she produced him from novice level to small tour level.
She first competed him as a 4-year old at the regional show in Bremgarten and then took him into some national classes in Ornago (ITA) in 2020.
The pair made its international debut at the 2020 CDI Arezzo in the 5-year old division winning the preliminary and finals test and from there went to Tortona and qualified for the 2020 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, but the event was cancelled due to corona.
In 2021 they showed at the CDI Ornago and represented Switzerland at the 2021 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, where they finished fifth in the 6-year old consolation final.
Their national small tour debut was in Dielsdorf in December 2022. Their first small tour international was in Ornago. Brunner showed him internationally through August 2024 with CDI starts in Stadl Paura, Crozet, and Dielsdorf

Gaston has now been sold as a hopeful for Swiss pony rider Ginevra Penelope Iannunzio.
"I'm sure you will give as much joy, happiness, fun, love and success as you gave to me," she said about Gaston moving to a new rider.
Iannunzio made her show debut in regional shows in Switzerland in 2021 on the paint gelding Indiano IV and as of 2023 she's been competing the Dutch Welsh pony Donstar (by Orchard Boginov x Kooihuster Teake it Easy).
