Carolina Miesner, a team medal winning junior rider at the 2022 European Junior Riders Championships, has premiered a new horse: Bela Bartok.

Bela Bartok is a 9-year old Brandenburger bred stallion by Belantis out of Winni Wind (by Wind Dancer x Rohdiamant). He is bred by Hela Nora Driesch.

Neustadt/Dosse

Owned by the Bradenburg State Stud, the dark bay was licensed as a breeding stallion at the 2018 Brandenburg Stallion Licensing in Neustadt/Dosse.

He did his 50-day stallion performance test in Schlieckau in the autumn of 2018 and scored 8.18 for dressage.

Sport Career

He began his sport career in 2018 under Anna Weilert, but was only very lightly competed in the first few years. In 2021 Katharina Dietl showed him at A-level.

As of 2023 Bela Bartok has been in training with Tessa Frank and she campaigned him at M and S-level that year at local shows in Jestebur, Alvern, Loxstedt and in 2024 she showed him once in Elmshorn to win the M** test.

Bela Bartok has now moved barns and is now being trained by 18-year old German junior rider Carolina Miesner.

Miesner made her show debut on Bela Bartok at the local show in Jesteburg on 26 April and won the M** test with 71.577%.

Carolina made her international show debut in 2020 at pony level with Novellini (by Nancho's Noble Classic x Don't Worry Junior) but that year represented Germany at the 2020 European Children Championships on Angelina (by Decurio x Liberator). In 2022 she moved to junior level with Exclusiv (by Edward x Wolkenstein II) and made it back on the German team for the European Junior Riders Championships in Hartpury, where they were fifth in the freestyle.

In 2023 she competed Exclusiv and Livy HL (by Livaldon x Lord Loxley) at international junior level.
