Patrick Burssens is a dressage rider with global impact. As an international competitor with impeccable credentials, Burssens began with the 1972 Belgium National Junior Championship, he had membership on both the Belgian and Mexican Olympic Teams,

won the 1998 White Fences Dressage Derby Championship with DaVinci, and has many, many more awards and accolades. His students have competed on numerous national teams and have earned championships across the world.

Patrick Burssens originally from Belgium now rides for Mexico, the homeland of his wife, Marisol. A prominent figure on the Florida Winter Circuit, with a new farm in Wellington, and a barn full of horses and clients, he has set his sights on qualifying for the Mexican Team, with his Dutch Warmblood, Jagermeester.

With the trials beginning in Mexico, Burssens will know soon if his winter scores in Florida will qualify him to defend his Gold Medal in Winnipeg this summer, at the Pan American Games which runs from July 23-August 8.
