Purchased by Dr Uwe Schulten Baumer for the fair price of 34,000 Deutsch Mark at the 15th Elite Auction of the Westphalian Verband, Richard Kimble is yet another champion in the making for his student Isabell Werth.
Richard Kimble is a 5-year old Westphalian gelding by Ribbeck out of a Rheingold dam. Standing 17.0 hands high, this dark bay gelding is a noble, high potential mover with an impressive aura.
Easily qualifying for the 1998 Bundeschampionate, Kimble and Werth were one of the 32 mounts entering the 4 year old mare and gelding class. With great flair the pair became reserve champion of the class, nearly beating the Hanoverian Association's pride mare Wahajama.
"He's very, very talented and has excellent movements," Werth recently explained to Junior Riders.
If Richard Kimble has as much courage and perseverance as his name giver, Harrison Ford who played the role of Dr. Richard Kimble in The Fugitive, than it is certain that this mount will storm to the top.
