Arjen Teeuwissen has found a new tack sponsor. The German firm Theo Sommer GmbH will be providing Teeuwissen's new bridles and saddles. The Dutch A-team Grand Prix rider used to be sponsored by tack company BR
but that contract came to an end December 2002. Arjen will be riding his horses Gestion Goliath and Gestion Libido in the ‘Diplomat Exklusif DS’ saddle.
Teeuwissen's come back with Gestion Goliath is scheduled for the Indoor Brabant competition in March. The KWPN gelding Goliath (by Zebulan) was operated on the larynx for "cornage". Goliath has to rest at least six weeks, but Teeuwissen started training his only Grand Prix mount too eagerly. "I wanted to get him ready for the CDI Aarhus in February, but it seems that I'm pushing it too much," Arjen said. The scheduled come back will, therefore, be in 's Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, at Indoor Brabant.
