Martina Hannover/Sternberg's Grand Prix stallion Ratino H (by Rubinstein) has been included in the OLD programme of the society which promotes the Oldenburg horse at international competitions.
Ratino H OLD is now one of the ambassadors for the Oldenburg Society and will carry round the good name of the Oldenburg horse, highly suitable for dressage. Other OLD promotors are Gina Royal OLD, a Grand Prix mare, and Aleppo OLD, a Grand Prix gelding both ridden by Ellen Schulten-Baumer and Dynamico OLD, ridden by the handicapped Bettina Bayreuther. Most successful OLD ambassador at the moment is Isabell Werth's Apache OLD which has been named Isabell's successor of Gigolo FRH.
Ratino H is bred, owned and trained by Martina Hannover who is located at Stable Bollmoor in Lütjensee, Germany, and was competed at the 2000 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. There, Ratino H excelled with his beauty and solid training, but he showed unsufficient hind leg use at the time. Now, the dark bay stallion has started his second season competing at Grand Prix level with great success.
