Dutch junior rider Lotje Schoots has fractured her wrist after a spill from her young horse last week Thursday January 27, 2005. Schoots, who became the 2004 European Junior Riders Champion on Fhilippo
, fell off her 5-year old Rohdiamant youngster. It is not yet known how long it will take for Schoots to be back in the saddle.
Due to good results at some local shows, Schoots qualified her Rohdiamant offspring for the Dutch selection trials for the World Young Horse Championships. Schoots trains with young rider Tommie Visser and with Marian Dorresteyn.
