Gestut Vorwerk's Danny Wilde has been leased to Dr. Erdmann in Austria for the 2005 breeding season. The 9-year old Rhinelander branded Danny Wilde is by Donnerwind out of Messina
(by Mephistopheles x Burnus AA). Dr Erdmann, who is located in Krumpendorf, Austria, will be handling the stallion's breedings.
"Danny Wilde will still be available for breeders in Germany," Gestut Vorwerk stold Eurodressage. "There will be no problems for the home market because his semen will be delivered fresh from Austria."
Danny Wilde was purchased by Gestut Vorwerk at the 2000 CHIO Sales in Aachen for top money. Lisa Wilcox competed the stallion at Prix St Georges level in 2004. Gestut Vorwerk could not tell if the horse will be competed during the 2005 show season. Dr. Erdmann's son, Nikolaus Erdmann, is an Austrian young riders' team member.
