Double Olympic and World Champion Anky van Grunsven gave birth to a daughter on March 6, 2007, at 20.15h. The baby girl is called Ava Eden and weighs 3100 grams. Both mother and daughter are doing well.
Ava Eden Van Grunsven is born in the Maxima Medical Center in Veldhoven, The Netherlands, just like her now 2-year old brother Yannick Janssen. She was born four days after the due date and her father is Van Grunsven's trainer Sjef Janssen, who will declare his daughter in the Veldhoven civic hall on Wednesday morning.
