On the first day, Sönke Rothenberger competed three times and won all three classes: with Deinhard B in the international pony tour, with Wolke Sieben in the Juniors tour, with Wimbledon in the national pony tour.
Danish Nanna Skodborg Merrald & Centrum were the most successful non-German pair of the sho.
"Will the weather hold?", Uwe Spenlen seems to ask. It didn't, and the whole Saturday afternoon was a very desolate affair under pouring skies. Daniel Barton and his team worked miracles to keep the arenas usable. Applause!
