Quidamus, a bay colt by Quidam de Revel x FAN Holland, became the price highlight at the 2008 Munster Foal Auction of Westfalian branded foals in Munster, Germany, August 17, 2008. Quidamus is bred and presented at auction by Michael Nixdorf from Santa Ponsa in Mallorca and sold for 32,200 euro to Rhineland.
The second most expensive foal was Four Seasons, a bay colt by Florenciano x Weinzauber. Bred by Gunter Spiess from Minden, Germany, this colt sold for 26,000 euro to Rhineland. Signorina Niro, a Sir Donnerhall x De Niro filly bred by Hans Hermann Winkelmann achieved a knock down price of 25,000 euro.
The show jumping bred filly Cumana, by Cumano x Corofino, sold for 20,000 euro. The mixed bred United Kingdom, by the KWPN stallion United out of a Londonderry dam sold for 16,500 euro to Westfalia.
The most expensive pony foal was Champion Domingo, a bay colt by Champion de Luxe x Domingo, which sold for a staggering 21,000 euro.
203 sport horse foals were sold for an average price of 6,645 €, 26 pony and Haflingerfoals were sold for an average price of 3,580 €.
