Hønnerups Driver, the 5-year old winner of the 2009 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, has been sold to Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak.
The liver chesnut gelding attracted tons of interest from buyers world wide after he won the World Champion's title. He has now been sold to Kasprzak and will remain in Danish ownership.
Under Andreas Helgstrand Hønnerups Driver freewheeled to the 5-year old title in Verden this year scoring an amazing 10 for trot. The gelding was owned by his breeder Hans Marius Jørgensen (of breeding farm Hønnerup) together with Helgstrand. Andreas recently bought a state of the art equestrian facility in the North of Denmark and the sale of the horse gave him a welcome financial breather.
Hønnerups Driver (by Blue Hors Romanov x Blue Hors Don Schufro) sold to Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak, mother of Danish young rider Anna Kasprzak and CEO of the world famous shoe company ECCO.
"To me it is incredibly important that an extraordinary horse such as Hønnerups Driver stays on Danish hands," commented Toosbuy Kasprzak. "I'm very happy that I have the possibility to secure this. The plan is that Driver stay's at Andreas' Møgelmosegård stable, where he will train him. I'm looking forward to working together with Andreas."
