British Emma Hindle and her up and coming Grand Prix horse Furstenreich (by Florestan x Matador x Apart) won the Grand Prix Kur to Music at the national dressage competition in Berlin, Germany. The combination scored 72.615% and stayed just ahead of Christoph Koschel on Fantomas.
“I was very pleased with the Kur,” said Hindle. “In the GP I didn’t ride well at all but he kept going - something that really impresses me; his ability to go ahead when I just sit there. But in the Kur we were really together and he was simply sensational.”
Hindle is optimistic about the future of not only 11 year old Fürstenreich but of her other rising stars including 12 year old Diamond Hit and 10 year old Chequille, all enjoying success recently in Hindle’s able hands. “I’m looking to take them international around March,” said Hindle. “I’m going to continue in some smaller national shows until then to help them gain confidence and gain more confidence myself as a rider.”
