At the small international dressage competition in Gotemba, Japan, Hiroyuki Kitahara won the Grand Prix Kur to Music aboard the 14-year old Hanoverian branded Why Me. The combination scored 66.300% and placed first. Mieko Yagi and Rasputin finished second.
