Never before have we received so many complaints about the organization of a dressage show than in Sopot, Poland. For the first time they host a CDI-W coinciding with their usual CSI competition, but dressage hardly seems to be on the mind of the organizers. Dressage riders have to warm up on grass if they don't want to ride amongst the frantic show jumpers. Judges' boxes are non existent and the panel has to sit in cars. The score office was unaware that they had to calculate a coefficient 2 on some movements and first miscalculated the results. And finally the time schedule is being changed all the time with classes moving from 2 hours on the day itself up to a day and a half on the schedule! What about the famous quotation "readiness is all"?! It is a great pity as the location near the seaside is lovely for an international competition.
