Totilas' first offspring has been born at the equine clinic in Utrecht on 23 January 2011. The bay filly named Guineverre is an embryotransfer of Totilas and the mare Sajouti (by Clavecimbel x Flamingo x Nooitgedacht). The owners are Cees and Tosca Vissers of Moorland stables.
"A beautiful dark bay filly has been born," said Visser in an official press release. "She's long legged, with a noble head and a small star. She has a little bit of white on her right hand leg but for the rest there are no markings."
Guineverre is an ET foal and the dam is the 11-year old KWPN branded elite mare Sajouti, who has regionally been competed by Laura Visser at Z2 level. As a youngster, Sajouti was the reserve horse for the Dutch team that competed at the 2004 World Young Horse Championships in Verden. She was previously ridden by Joost Smits, Angela Coppens and Marie Jose Hulsman. Sajouti sold to Visser in the winter of 2008.
"Because the team of the equine clinic in Utrecht helped us last year with the insemination, it seemed wise to us to let the foals be born there," said Visser.
