Third Phase of 2011 Belgian Warmblood Stallion Licensing Next Week

Next week the third and last phase of the 2011 Belgian warmblood stallion licensing will begin at Equestrian Centre De Warre in Neeroeteren, Belgium.

On Wednesday 16 March 2011 the stallions will be judged under the saddle ridden by their own rider, while on Thursday 17 March 2011 they will be ridden by the BWP guest judge riders. The next day, Friday, all stallions get a day of rest while on Saturday 19 March 2011 the big final day will take place.

In the morning the stallion selection of the Belgian Riding Pony will take place and in the afternoon the last part of the BWP Stallion Selection will begin. At about 6 pm, the judges will have seen all stallions and the new licensed breeding stallions will be named. For the first time during the Third Phase  a champion stallion for jumping and dressage will be proclaimed.
 
In the evening, older already approved stallions will compete against each other in the finals of the Stallion Competition.
