Sondheim and D'Coeur Noble bested the field in the Bundeschampionate qualification classes at the 2011 Westfalian regional qualifier held at Hubertus Schmidt's stable Fleyenhof in Borchen-Etteln on 23 - 26 June 2011. The 5-year old division was judged by Reinhard Richenhagen, Claus Harms and Eckhard Wehmho?ner; the 6-year olds by Uwe Fa?hrenkemper, Reinhard Richenhagen and Eckhard Wehmho?ner.
Johannes Westendarp won the 5-year old dressage horse test aboard Marta Kauffman's Oldenburg stallion Sondheim (by Sandro Hit x Rohdiamant x Zirkoon). The combination scored 8.6. The pair received 9's for the trot, canter, and ceneral impression. Sondheim was acquired by Kauffman with the help of her California trainer, Jaye Cherry, along with Johannes at the 2010 Oldenburg Spring Elite Auction in Vechta, Germany. The stallion was the price highlight and sold under the name of Sailor Moon. Marcus Hermes and the Hanoverian Flynn PCH (by Falstebro) were second with 8.3 followed by Anja Wilimzig on the picturesque Westfalian Sunday (by Sandro Hit) on 8.2.
In the 6-year old division Ann Christin Wienkamp and the Hanoverian D'Coeur Noble (by Don Crusador) won the trophy for an 8.1 earning ride. Heiko Klausing and the Rhinelander bred Lauderdale (by Lord Loxley I) were second with 8.0, followed by Johanna Klippert on Chico's EGI (by Chico's Boy) with 7.3.
