The Hanoverian licensed stallion and 2011 Bundeschampion Benicio (by Belissimo M x Velthen Third) has won the last 30-days Stallion Performance Testing of the year in Schlieckau.
Forty stallions participated in the testing which started on 22 November and concluded on 21 December 2011. Especially a large group of show jumpers performed in this testing.
The dressage stallion Benicio won this 30-dat testing with a total mark of 9.14 points. He got 10s for walk, trot and canter, 8.5 for character, 9.5 for temperament and a 10 for willigness to work. His lowest mark was 7.5 for jumping in freedom. Benicio is owned by the South African Callaho Sporthorses and ridden by Anna Sophie Fiebelkorn.
2011 Bundeschampion Lemony's Nicket (by Londonderry x Weltmeyer) which sold for 900,000 to Harmony Sporthorses at the Hanoverian Elite Auction, scored a total of 8.84 points with marks between 9.5 and 10 for his gaits, character and potential.
The Hanoverian stallion Foundation (by Fidertanz x De Vito), which was first rejected at the 2010 Hanoverian licensing, then bought by Paul Schockemohle (and Katrinelund & Priess Stutteri), licensed for Oldenburg and finally miraculously approved for Hanover, scored a total of 8.45.
Other dressage stallions included Show Dancer (by Sir Donnerhall I) which finished on 8.13 points, Mescalero (by Impetus x Herzzauber) with 8.03 points and Spirit of Westfalia (by Sandro Hit) with 7.68.
