The presentation of the 43rd NRW Spring Elite Auction collection on Sunday 25 March 2012 in Münster- Handorf (GER) will be according to a new format: an open training session. The concept of the training presentation is meant to take the pressure off the young horses and their riders.
Twenty-five dressage prospects will be shown in a regular dressage training presentation and Oliver Oelrich, trainer of the auction team and renowned FEI rider of Rock Forever, will give a short explanation and review of the daily training of the candidates. Each horse will get an extended show time of 10 minutes. Like this every potential buyer has got enough time to look at the Elite horses.
After the dressage collection, the show jumping horses will have their training session with trainer and international show jumper Bernd Schulze Topphoff.
After the presentation there will be time to test ride one's favourite candiates. The Sunday presentation is the kick off to the Final week leading up to the actual elite auction in Münster-Handorf on 1 April 2012. Everey day from Monday until Saturday training and testing are possible.
The 2012 NRW Spring Elite Auction collection also includes 21 first class elite foals. Nineteen riding horse foals and two pony foals are in the high quality collection. Their pedigrees include the who is who of European dressage and show jumping breeding sire: Belissimo NRW, Fürstenball, Millenium, Feedback, Bretton Woods, Vitalis, Jazz, Estobar, Fiorano, Don Juan de Hus (by Jazz), Cornet Obolensky, Comme il Faut, Nabab de Reve, and Calido.
