Flowers in full bloom and a warm, shining sun; it could hardly have been a more beautiful day for the first and only presentation of the 2012 Classical Sales Warendorf horses, which will be auctioned on Thursday 29 March 2012 from 7 pm onwards (gates open at 6pm).
Around 350 spectators made their way to the Wietelshof, on the outskirts of Warendorf, where they got to see the 22 auction horses thoroughly, in a public training session.
"The horses were presented under saddle, individually or in pairs. Even the warm-up outside was open to the public, following our motto of maximum transparency. We are very pleased with the way everything went: all of the horses presented themselves fantastically and the customers’ interest was resounding," said a delighted Fabian Scholz, co-initiator of the auction.
After a break for lunch, the horses were then available to be tried out, with many prospective bidders taking advantage of this opportunity.
The countdown to the Classical Sales Warendorf auction has now begun. The programme for Thursday 29 March starts with a public training session at 10 am; after this, there will be a final opportunity for bidders to try the horses out until approximately 4pm.
As with previous editions, the horses will be then led in hand during the auction, which will start at 7pm.
ClipMyHorse will broadcast the training session on 29 April from 10-11 AM as well as the auction!
