After the sale of Donna Unique, Danish Olympian Andreas Helgstrand has made it no secret he has money to invest in young future stars. In one week time he bought ownership and shares in three rising licensed dressage stallions.

Last Saturday Andreas acquired the 2012 Oldenburg Under Saddle Licensing Furstenstein (by Furst Romancier x Hohenstein). The liver chestnut colt sold for 165,000 euro at auction and the ownership will be shared by Helgstrand and Norwegian Grand Prix rider Cathrine Rasmussen.

On his website, Andreas also stated that he acquired the KWPN bred but AES licensed stallion Electrisch. This 3-year old is by Zenon x Olivi and stood out at the licensing in Schijndel, The Netherlands, on 24 March.

Helgstrand further invested a share in the ownership of Danish warmblood approved Atterupgaards Sastre (by Stedinger x Lord Sinclair). Bred by Kristine and Michael Sinding and previously owned by Henrik Hansen and Jens Erik Marcussen, Sastre became a premium stallion in Herning begin March and just completed his 10-day performance test in Vilhelmsborg. Helgstrand now owns Sastre together with Hansen.
