Swedish Team Selected for 2012 Olympic Games

The Swedish Equestrian Federation and Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK) have confirmed the team that will represent Sweden at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Great Britain, on 2 - 9 August 2012. With the CDI Lingen and CDIO Rotterdam as final ride-off for the third team spot, chef d'equipe Bo Jena was able to make his pick.

The 2012 Swedish Olympic team includes

  • Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven - Don Auriello, a 10-year old Hanoverian gelding by Don Davidoff x White Star
  • Patrik Kittel - Scandic, a 13-year old Dutch warmblood stallion by Solos Carex x Amiral
  • Minna Telde - Santana, a 11-year old Oldenburg stallion by Sandro Hit x Rubinstein I

The reserve rider is Rose Mathisen on the Swedish warmblood stallion Bocelli (by Don Schufro x Bernstein).
