Christine Stuckelberger Injured in Barn Accident

Former Olympic dressage champion Christine Stückelberger severely injured herself in a barn accident at her neighbour's farm on 31 December 2012. The 65-year old fell down the hayloft on the concrete floor.

Stückelberger was immediately transported to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a severe concussion, several broken ribs and a cracked ankle.  The doctors had to stabilize her ankle with screws and bolts.

Christine is in a good spirits and looking forward to returning home to her partner, the 92-year old legendary trainer Georg Wahl.
