2013 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

At the national dressage show in Jeneffe, Belgium, on 26 May 2013 the 5-year old Special Agent Amour and the 6-year old Sniper van de Helle were the winners of the young horses classes which counted as qualifier for Belgian team selection for the 2013 World Young Horse Championships in Verden in August.

Philippe Jorissen and his home bred Rhinelander licensed stallion Special Agent Amour (by San Amour x Polidiktus) pushed for power in the five year old division and posted the high score of the day. By scoring 87.000 points, Jorissen won the class and left the competition quite behind him. Dutch Rob van Puijenbroek and the Oldenburg gelding Seymour (by San Amour x Friedensfurst) finished second with 83.800 and were followed by Amandina Prevost on the Dutch warmblood Dynamo (by Painted Black x Jazz) with 83.600.

In the 6-year old class former young rider Brecht d'Hoore topped the leader board with Paul Mais' Sniper van de Helle. The combination scored 84.400 points and referred Nick van Laer on the Hanoverian stallion Sir Donovan (by Sir Donnerhall I x Weltmeyer) to a second place with 82.80. Katrin Verreet and the Oldenburg licensed stallion Bailamos Biolley (by Sir Donnerhall I x Florestan) were third with 81.40.
