Danish rider Kristine Moller was first in the the Prix St Georges and Intermediaire I kur with 71.316 and 73.525% and pulled a double at the 2013 CDI Compiegne on 30 May - 2 June 2013. Aboard her 10-year old Hanoverian Reve en Noir (by Riccione x Lanthan) Moller feels Compiegne was probably the most successful event of her life so far.

"In Vierzon last year I also won the Inter I kur but here in Compiegne I won both classes, so it was really a very successful weekend for me and Reve en Noir," the 30 year-old Kristine told Eurodresage.

According to Kristine, she had a really great ride, particularly in the Prix St Georges, believing it was actually her best ride to date. "Reve en Noir was with me all the way! It’s so nice when the horse is so far advanced and confident in their training that you feel as though the horse is helping the rider around the arena," she explained.

Kristine describes her black Reve en Noir as an "affordable luxury". "He is a horse that I love to ride every day and one of the few horses that manages to give me goosebumps when I ride him! It's really, really great to have such a horse," said the beaming Luxembourg based Danish rider.  Besides his talents and qualities as a riding horse, Reve is also the best friend Kristine could hope for and is particular great if you’re in need of a cuddle. "I could easily spend all day on him; he would do anything for his rider."

Together, the pair are now getting into a good routine in the S-level classes and from there will decide when they are both ready to take the plunge into the Grand Prix. "I have had Reve A Noir for 4 years now, since he was 6 years old, when Jens Thorsen and I bought him."

Raised in a very horsey family, Kristine enherited the bug from her grandfather, a horse trader seriously involved in Danish warmblood breeding. At 18, Kristine traveled to Krefeld in Germany to work at Gestüt Wiesenhof stable and it was there that she learnt what it meant to work with horses professionally and to ride in the German way. "At Wiesenhof I worked with Fie Christine Skarsø who taught me almost everything I know today. Now, 12 years later, she is still my coach and comes to train with me once every week," Moller stated.

Working for the last 8 years at Gestüt Pallerhaff in Niederpallen, Luxembourg, Kristine rides an average of nine horses a day. Besides Reve en Noir, she also has the Danish graded Trakehner stallion Blancpain (by Peron Junior x Silver Moon) that they bred at Pallerhaff, among many other talented young horses. "Blancpain is now 8 years old and has already performed very well in S level. In particular, he was second in the Trakehner championship last year behind Helen Langehanenberg and Cote d'Azur," Kristine said proudly.

With many young hopefuls in the barn Kristine is looking forward to a big year ahead with many of her rides making their way towards Grand Prix. Her other exciting up-and-comer is gelding Merlot (by Buddenbrock x Mago xx), with whom she plans to make an Inter II debut over the summer.
