2013 European Pony Championships
The Norwegian equestrian federation has announced the team that will represent Norway at the 2013 European Pony Championships in Arezzo, Italy on 24 - 28 July 2013. The Norwegian pony riders will have to do without a team trainer as Lars Rasmussen resigned on 1 July 2013.
The Norwegian pony team held a dress rehearsal for the Europeans by winning team bronze at the 2013 Nordic Baltic Championships in Flyinge, Sweden, last week.
The team includes:
- Ingrid Rimestad - Jumanji, a 12-year old gelding by Jacobspeel's Rocky x Luzern
- Lerke Nordum - Beukenhof's Ricardo, a 9-year old gelding by Morgenlands Fabian x Wester Aikema's Adios
- Ellen Karina Horn - Truly Yours, a 9-year old gelding by Timberland
- Cathzrine Oppegaard - Odbjergs Bordeaux, an 11-year old gelding by Stackarps Dayton x Hoejlunds Monty
