German young rider Paulina Rohr has acquired the 12-year old Oldenburg licensed stallion Köpenick (by Krack C x Raphael x Weingraf).
The 2001 born chestnut stallion, which is bred by Paul Schlipf, is a premium Oldenburg stallion, who did his 30-day stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse and scored a dressage index of 8.86.
Köpenick initially stood at stud at stallion station Birkhof and was started by Nicole Casper. The Oldenburg stallion placed sixth at the 2006 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. From 2007 to 2009 he was shown by Christine Eglinski and since 2012 he was competed by Natalia Soujon.
The Waldsee based Rohr purchased the stallion at the end of September 2013 and trains him with German judge Dr. Dietrich Plewa.
"I have to thank my mom for discovering this horse," Rohr told Eurodressage. "I immediately picked him because he is a horse with lots of expression and character. He has his own will and can not be ridden by any rider but he accepted me straight away and gave me an incredible feeling in the saddle." Rohr added that she fell in love with his gaits. "He really stands out with his spectacular basic gaits," she said.
Rohr has already competed the horse at two M-level tests, which she won and plans to show the horse at young riders' level in 2014. Rohr has previously competed Del Piero (by De Niro x Levernois) and Die Eine vF (by Del Piero x Wolkentanz I)
