The black stallion Fursten-Look (by Furstenball x Londonderry x Weltmeyer) has been proclaimed champion of the 2014 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing under saddle, held in Vechta, Germany on 4 April 2014.
Twenty-one stallions participated in this saddle licensing and eleven were licensed; eight of them were dressage bred.
Bred and owned by Johannes Sabel Jr, Fursten-Look sold at auction the next day for 350,000 euro to the German-Danish owners' duo Paul Schockemohle and Lone Boegh Henriksen. The pair also co-owns sire Furstenball and the Westfalian licensed Dragon Hill together.
The reserve champion at this saddle licensing was Christoph Tantzen's Bergolio (by Bordeaux x Rosier x Tin Rocco xx). He sold at auction for 80,000 euro to a local customer.
The third ranked premium stallion was a Rock Forever x Sevillano xx offspring, bred by Rudolf Meyer and acquired at the Vechta foal auction in 2011 by Wilhelm Sieverding.
Only three stallions were decorated with the premium label.
