The FEI Bureau has allocated the 2017 World Cup Dressage Finals to  Omaha in the state of Nebraska (USA). It will host the joint World Cup Jumping and Dressage Finals in 2017.

Omaha held off strong challenges from Hong Kong (Jumping) and ‘s-Hertogenbosch (Dressage). The joint Finals will run from 27 March - 2 April 2017.

The World Cup Dressage, the only worldwide series in this discipline, is in its 29th season this year. The series, created in 1985, comprises four leagues: Western European, Central European, North American (including Canada) and Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Asia).

Each FEI World Cup Dressage qualifier consists of a Grand Prix test, which in turn is a qualification for the Freestyle to Music competition, where league points are accumulated towards places in the Final. Judged on both technical and artistic merit, the World Cup Dressage combines art, sport and partnership between horse and rider at the highest level and consistently proves a winning formula with audiences all over the world.
