The biggest Jewish sports event in Europe, the European Maccabi Games 2015, is looking for Jewish dressage riders. From 27 July until 5 August 2015, the 14th European Maccabi Games 2015 (EMG2015) will take place in Berlin, Germany for the first time.
The Maccabi delegations are still looking for Jewish dressage riders to compete for their country at the third biggest sporting event in Europe.
Similar to the Olympic Games, the European Maccabi delegations dispatch their best Jewish athletes every four years. The games will be opened with a festive event in the "Waldbühne". 70 years after the Holocaust, the European Maccabi Games will be held in the very place that Jewish athletes were excluded from participating in the Olympic Games 1936 - the Olympiapark in Berlin.
The European Maccabi Games are the biggest Jewish sports event in Europe. Over 2000 Jewish athletes, coaches, functionaries and officials, from 30 European and non-European countries are expected at the EMG2015 in Berlin. Competitions will be held in over 20 different sports. The competitions are open for male and female participants of different age categories: Juniors and Youth (Age 13+), Open (18+) and Masters (35+).
