The filly Jeetjemina Irine S became the top seller at the 2014 Limburg Foal Auction held at equestrian centre De Ijzeren Man in Weert, The Netherlands, on Wednesday 24 September 2014.
The chesnut Dutch warmblood filly by Charmeur x Krack C sold for the top knock down price of 23,000 euro to Demy Kurstjens, a member of the bronze medal winning pony team at the 2014 European Pony Championships in Millstreet, The Netherlands.
"We're so happy with her," Kurstjens told Eurodressage. "She's really fantastic. So much self carriage and movement."
Twenty-five foals sold for more than 10,000 euro and three foals sold for over 20,000 euro. A total of 106 foals were auctioned at the 2014 Limburg Foal Auction
The second most expensive foal was Just on Time (by Jazz x Negro) which sold to Dutch buyers for 22,000 euro.
The most expensive jumper foal was James Bond (by Balou du Rouet x Cavalier) which sold to Ireland for 21,000 euro.
