Arlette and Jasper Kohl's Gestut Peterhof in Germany, have acquired a half share in the ownership of the recently approved Hanoverian premium stallion D'Avie (by Don Juan de Hus x Londonderry).

D'Avie sold for the top knock down price of 620,000 euro to Andreas Helgstrand in Denmark at the 2014 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden, Germany, in October. The Danish horse dealer has now sold 50% in the ownership of the horse to the Kohl family.

D'Avie will be based at Gestut Peterhof in Perl-Borg, Germany as of 2015.

“We are so happy that we are able to offer our breeders a stallion like D’avie who is completely convincing right down the line and already evoked so much enthusiasm when he was licensed“ explained Arlette Jasper-Kohl and her husband, Edwin-Kohl. “His pedigree perfectly supplements the pedigrees of our multi-champion Sezuan and our two Grand Prix winners, Silvano and Florett As. And, of course, the stallion will also be further schooled here to bring out his talents.“
