The annual Trakehner Stallion Show held at the Westfalian headquarters in Munster-Handorf was also well attended this year on 7 February 2015 with a stunning show case of Trakehner dressage sires following the approval of two Thoroughbred stallions for Trakehner breeding.
The first approved Thoroughbred is Asagao xx (by Tertullian xx x Tagel xx), owned by Markus Hoffrogge. This bay colt has been winning in eventing at L level and has completed the 70-day performance testing.
The second approved Thoroughbred is the 9-year old Lucarelli xx (by High Chaparrat xx x Acatenango xx), bred and owned by Gestut Hof Ittlingen. After a successful career on the race track, the dark bay stallion is now standing at stud. He is praised for his rideability, his frame and shoulder and croup conformation.
