The French international small tour horse Swing de Hus has been moved to a new rider, its fourth in three years time. Stephanie Brieussel will be continuing the competitive career of the 9-year old Hanoverian stallion.
Swing de Hus is by San Remo x Wonderland and was started by French WEG team rider Jessica Michel. The stallion became the reserve champion at the 2010 French Young Horse Championships as a 4-year old. Michel and Swing finished 7th at the 2011 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany, and won the 2011 French Young Horse Championships when he was as a 5-year old.
In March 2012 Swing de Hus sold to Chantilly based jockey Olivier Peslier and his wife Claudia Chauchard and was acquired for Marc Brulé to ride. The partnership, however, did not last very long and the owners' couple moved the black to Julia Chevanne in October 2012.
Under Chevanne, who trains with Stephanie's husband Dominique Brieussel, Swing de Hus was competed at international small tour level and produced good scores at the 2014 CDI Deauville and CDI Saumur. They were also the 2014 French small tour champion
Stéphanie Brieussel has now received the ride on Swing de Hus.
"I decided to accept the proposition made by Claudia and Claude Chauchard to train Swing in order to continue the good work that has been done the past two years with this really promising horse," Stephanie Brieussel told Eurodressage. "He will stay in our stable in the same environment, with the same coach and the same training methods and I will do my best to reach the Big Tour this year."
Brieussel will make her show debut at small tour level at the 2015 CDI Vidauban on 5 - 8 March 2015.
"Our competition plans are directly linked to my big tour horse Amorak, so it is very likely that you will see Swing mainly in international events this year," she added.
