The Dutch Equestrian Federation has announced the riders which have been selected to represent The Netherlands at the Nations' Cup competition held at the 2015 CDIO Vidauban on 4 - 8 March 2015. For next week's World Cup qualifier in Gothenburg, two Dutch riders scratched.
Three Dutch riders were supposed to compete at the 2015 CDI-W Gothenburg in Sweden, but two of them have withdrawn. Adelinde Cornelissen will not be taking her 18-year Parzival (by Jazz x Ulft) to Sweden. The chestnut gelding has an oedema on his hindquarters. Though it is not serious, the horse is a bit sore on the spot. Danielle Heijkoop will not be making her CDI debut on Zaffier. The horse competed in another national show last weekend but the performance was not yet up to par for an international debut this weekend. Edward Gal will be taking Voice to Gothenburg. It will be the stallion's first show since his disappointing performance at the 2014 World Equestrian Games, where the black refused to piaffe.
For the 2015 CDIO Vidauban Nations' Cup The Netherlands is sending a mixed team of experienced riders and newcomers. Vidauban is the first leg of the 2015 FEI Nations' Cup show circuit. The Dutch team is composed of only three riders: Laurens van Lieren (Ulysses la Haya), Lynn Maas (Zamora), Dominique Filion (Wenicienta).
