Brightwells is staging an Elite Auction at the 2015 CDI 3* Addington on Saturday 21 March 2015. The 2015 Brightwells Elite Dressage Horse Auction offers an exceptional collection of 17 talented young dressage prospects. Auction Horse in the Spotlight is Donna, a 7-year old Dutch warmblood mare by Uptown x Donnerschwee x Welt As.
All auction horses have been selected throughout Germany, Holland and the UK and present a collection of high quality 4 to 7 year olds, of which many having already been successful in competition and command the attributes in their training for higher level sport. They have all under gone X-ray assessments, which can be forwarded to the Veterinary Surgeons of prospective clients prior to the sale.
Auction Horse in the Spotlight: Donna
Lot 8 is Donna, a 7-year old Dutch warmblood mare by Uptown x Donnerschwee x Welt As.
She is an exceptionally talented mare who has already been successful at Medium level with scores of 70% and over. She is a rare find as she is owned and ridden by her breeder and has never been put on the market until this sale. She likes to work and is eager to learn with great rideability and a fantastic mind. In essence she is a mare with a fantastic future and everyone dream.
Her sire Uptown was the Dutch Champion Stallion who just like his father Kennedy won the Pavo Cup. Uptown has produced the licensed stallion Bojengel as well as approved mare’s incl. Cherie, Chanel, Bellissima M, Dolce Du Monde, Balance etc. The mother line brings the legendary blood of Donnerhall through Donnerschwee sire of premium licensed stallion D-Day as well as Don Rubin and Duino. Grandmother’s father is Welt As who was the father of the famous Bonfire ridden by Anky Van Grunsven.
