Danish Youth Riders Squads for 2015 Announced

The Danish Equestrian Federation has published the names of the combinations which have been submitted to the Pony, Junior and Young Riders squads based on recent show results and their performance at team training camps during the winter.

At the beginning of February Danish pony team trainer Jytte Nevermann coached a large group of pony riders at camps in Skanderborg, Denmark, and at Jonstrupgården. At a bigger training camp on 14 - 15 March 2015 in Middelfart, Denmark, Nevermann was joined by junior/young riders team trainer Ulrick Sorensen. Fifteen pony riders, seventeen juniors and eighteen young riders gathered there.

"In Middelfart the riders had to do program riding and they got a lesson from team trainers Sørensen and Nevermann. There was also a sport psychology session for the riders and parents and the team veterinarian spoke about travelling with horses, feeding and doping," Danish pony chef d'equipe Rigmor Kristensen told Eurodressage.
