Aboard her Friesian black beauty Russian children's rider Anna Guseynova claimed victory at the 2015 CDI Valencia on 24 - 26 April 2015. Scoring a hattrick in the Children division Guseynova and Abe fan it Hiem scored 67.398%, 71.889% and 71.354% to steal victory in the preliminary, team and individual tests.
The 13-year old Guseynova travelled all the way from Russia with her 7-year old Dutch bred Friesian Abe fan it Hiem (by Tsjabring out of Nynke Reytzen van Revenswoud (by Beart)) to compete at Oliva Nova equestrian centre in Valencia, Spain.
“My horses travelled to the CDI all the way from Russia in a truck and the journey took three and a half days," Anna told Eurodressage. “Abe was very good during the competition, he is a happy horse!”
The Guseynova family acquired Abe in Russia as a 7 month old colt and young Anna has been riding him from the start at her own yard in Russia. The green duo has been rising amongst the levels together and had their international Children's debut in June 2014 at the CDI Moscow.
“My other horse is 6-year old KWPN Ellington, who we bought a year ago. He stayed in Holland until the summer and is now back with us in Russia," Anna added.
Trained by Larisa Demchenko, Anna says that Abe tries to do his best everyday and puts all his emotion into the competition.
“When he first saw the mountains in Valencia he was afraid, but he was very good, and relaxed quickly," said the Children's rider.
This year she has set as her major goal a berth at the 2015 European Children’s Championship in Vidauban, France, in July. She wants to improve her riding and compete for Russia. On the long term, Anna wants to become a vet.
