There are still 42 days left until the 2015 CDIO Hagen, an international Nations Cup dressagr competition on German ground, which will be held at the Hof Kasselmann in Hagen at the Teutoburg Forest. Pure dressage will be the motto in the big stadium: notably the highlight, the CDIO5*, featuring the classic championship tests Grand Prix de Dressage, Grand Prix Special and freestyle.
Eight different nations will attend the event in Hagen: Germany, the Netherlands, the US, Great Britain, Denmark, Russia, France and Switzerland.
It is still unknown which riders will represent their country at the foot of the Hagen Borgberg, but the federations from the US and Denmark have already announced to send their teams for the German Nations Cup. The host country will use the CDIO as final sighting for the European Championships in August in Germany and will therefore present its best horse-rider-combinations in Hagen.
The setting will be impressive as is appropriate for an event such as the CDIO. The huge dressage stadium at the Hof Kasselmann at the foot of the Hagen Borgberg already provided the backdrop for impressive dressage performances at the 2005 European Dressage Championships.
And the sports program, set up by the Organizing Committee to complement the Nations Cup-tests, is also of international quality: The Big Tour CDI4*, consisting of Grand Prix, Special and freestyle, the Small Tour CDI1* with Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I, and the Piaff Challenge Cup International U25, featuring an Intermediaire II and Grand Prix-test for riders aged 25 and younger.
