German A-team rider and Olympic individual medalist Ulla Salzgeber has acquired the 3-year old Westfalian licensed stallion Fred the Red AS (by Franziskus x Florestan x Democraat).
Fred the Red AS is bred by Albert Schulze Topphoff and was owned by Frederik Vekens and Jill Jessica Mieleszko from Paderborn, Germany.
One month ago the chestnut stallion was approved for Westfalian breeding at the 2015 Westfalian Saddle Licensing in Munster-Handorf. He was one of only three stallions that got a positive verdict at the saddle licensing.
Under Rebekka Rössler the stallion made his competition debut on 1 May 2015 and won the riding horse test at the local show in Delbrück with a score of 8.4.
Salzgeber acquired Fred the Red AS shortly after his show victory and he has now moved to Ulla's base at equestrian centre Obere Mühle in Blonhofen, Germany.
