2015 KWPN Foal Auction
Karamel's Toto Texel became the top selling dressage foal of the 2015 KWPN Star Sale Foal auction held in Drachten, The Netherlands, on 28 August 2015.
Esben Möller, managing director of the Danish Blue Hors stud, acquired the chestnut gold Karamel's Toto Texel (by Toto Jr x Charmeur) for 18,500 euro.
The second most expensive dressage foal was Keepintouch Embe (by Ferguson x Krack C) which sold for a knock down price of 15,500 euro.
Kevin Costner Texel (by Negro x Jazz) sold for 13,500 euro. Two colts sold for the same knock down price of 11,500 euro: Kensington WL (by Franklin x Kennedy) and Knoxville TT (by Ferdeaux x Jazz).
The majority of the Star Sale Foal collection included jumper bred foals.
