The 16-year old Nadine Krause will be making the transition to horses, but has decided not to sell her ponies Cyrill and Danilo. Instead both top scoring ponies have been allocated to German pony riders for the upcoming show season.

Krause has represented Germany at four consecutive European Pony Championships since 2012. She won three times team gold with Danilo and at the 2015 Europeans she went home with team, individual test and kur to music silver aboard Cyrill.

The Krause family has decided not to sell any of their ponies but instead grant the ride to talented German pony riders.

The 12-year old Westfalian pony stallion Danilo (by Dornik B x Power Boy) will stay at Gestut Erlenhof in Bad Homburg and will be ridden by Tabea Schroer. The 9-year old Weser Ems bred Cyrill (by Champion de Luxe x Power Man) will move to Wibke Stommel's yard where he will be ridden by Katharina Ottenwess the next few years.

"We as a family spent much quality time with ouur ponies at home and at shows and we will greatly miss the pony riders and parents," said Nadine's mum Stefanie Krause-Rothenberger. "We have decided not to sell these ponies. Dini is very sad, and many tears have flown, because this was the last pony year. She has made many friends, several definitely for her future life."

Nadine Krause will now move to the junior riders' division and has two horses to campaign: an experienced S-level Oldenburg stallion and a 7-year old Oldenburg gelding.
