The colt Kayne became the dressage price highlight of the 2015 Prinsjesdag KWPN Foal Auction on 15 September 2015. The Governor x Rousseau offspring sold to Gerard Korbeld and Adelinde Cornelissen for 38,000 euro.
Korbeld is also the owner of Kayne's sire, the KWPN licensed young stallion Governor (by Totilas x Jazz x Ulft) which Adelinde Cornelissen is training and competing.
The second most expensive foal was colt Kanjer DDH (by Glamourdale x Sandro Song), which sold for 30,000 euro to Saskia Lemmens.
Colt Kagan ter Selle (by El Capone) achieved a knock down price of 28,000 euro and sold to Louis Röst. Nico Witte and Tim Collins acquired the colt King of Power SQBS (by Fellini) for 24,000 euro.
The most expensive filly of the auction was Kha Diva Corieta Texel (by Toto Jr), which sold for 16,000 euro. The Trakehner bred Milton Els (by Millennium) and the colt Kassion (by Sir Donnerhall) both sold for 15,000 euro.
The most expensive foal of the Prinsjesdag auction was in fact a show jumper. Colt Klarimo (by Clarimo x Heartbreaker) sold for 62,000 euro.
