German Under 25 Grand Prix rider Michelle Budde has acquired the Grand Prix horse Ribery, while German junior rider Semmieke Rothenberger has obtained a second junior riders horse, the small tour level competed Dissertation.

The 11 year old grey westfalian gelding Ribery (by Rubels x  Ferragamo x Festivo) is bred in The Netherlands by the late Henk Spekenbrink and was previously owned by Daniel Ramseier and Helder Cavalo. He was competed by Australian Hayley Beresford in 2010 but in 2014 Portugese couple Joana and Antonio do Vale took over the competition ride. The horse moved to Koschel's yard to be sold and was twice competed by Koschel's bereiter Philip Ruwe.

The Hardtke couple, the grand parents of the Sittensen based 21-year old Budde, acquired Ribery as Michelle's new Grand Prix horse. She is trained by Janine Siemers and made her international break through as a young rider on the now retired Welcome Forever (by Welt Hit II x Eklatant). She has a second U24 horse, Richmond (by Rubiloh x Denberg).

"Teddy is a horse without any weaknesses," Budde told Eurodressage. "He's perfect to handle and super sweet. Every day I'm having so much fun working home and he's teaching me so much for the U25 tour. His strengths are certainly the piaffe and passage tour. Every day he's motivated and already neighs when I arrive in the barn."

German Junior Riders Champion and European team gold and individual and kur silver medalist Semmieke Rothenberger has acquired a second junior riders' horse for her to compete. The 8-year old Hanoverian mare Dissertation (by Don Crusadoe x Gluckspilz x Graphit) has been sold to the Rothenberger family.

The black mare is bred by Hans-Heinrich Schmidt and was previously owned by Martin Schorsch. She began her competition career as a young horse under Roswitha Koch and Ilka Boening. Natalie Riffel took over the ride in 2013. In 2015 Dissertation was shown by Lena Waldmann, first at M-level and then up to Intermediaire I the same year. Waldmann won the Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifier for Developing Prix St Georges horses in Neu-Anspach.

"From the start this mare impressed us with her quality and it clicked straight away between her and Semmie," said the Rothenberger family. "She also has the traces of our favourite island Sylt as markings on her face. She really charmed us all the way. Lena did a great job with the mare and we're looking forward to continue the work on her."
