The 11-year old German Sport Horse licened stallion Rankrado became the top seller of the inaugural Auction4Good held at the 2015 CDI Roosendaal Indoor competition on Thursday 3 December 2015.
The Grand Prix level competed Rankrado (rider Arthur Verboekken) is by Ranko out of an Erato x Naturel dam. He sold for 300,000 euro at the auction. He was part of the auction collection as a wild card entry and the majority of the horse's information was not listed on the public auction page.
The second most expensive horse was the 6-year old Dutch warmblood Edison (by Johnson x Sandreo) which achieved a knock down price of 82,000 euro.
A total of 14 sport horses and two dressage ponies were offered for sale via Auction4Good, which donated 1% of the proceeds to charity. This year "Sportfonds Parapaard" (sport foundation para horse) was the recipient of the cheque of 6,845 euro. The average auction was 42,781 euro.
The organisation of Auction4Good was very pleased to be able to have the auction co-incide with the international dressage competition in Roosendaal. This led to Swedish pony rider Cecilia Bergåkra Berglund buying the 4-year old pony stallion Amalia's Claus (by Heitrak's Marvin x Orchard Boginov)
