Two dressage bred colts out of five pre-selected ones were accepted for the third phase of the 2016 Belgian Warmblood (BWP) Stallion Licensing. The second phase took place 21 - 23 January 2016 at equestrian centre Azelhof in Lier, Belgium.

The third and final phase of the 2016 BWP Stallion Licensing includes an under saddle test and will take place on 17 - 19 March 2016 at Stable Hulsterlo in Meerdonk, Belgium.

At the Azelhof only two dressage bred colts were able to impress the licensing committee, which is chair by Stefaan Desmet.

The two colts accepted for the third phase are Marac M, a Belgian warmblood by Charmeur x Krack C, owned by Roland Missiaen, and the foreign bred Quanto Curo van het Bloemenhof (by Quotenkonig x Weltino), owned by Isolde Tuypens.

Readers of the BWP website voted for Marac M as the best performing stallion of the second phase, even above all the other jumper candidates.
