As expected the Olympic Qualifications are in a very exciting phase this weekend! Huge Grand Prix scores at the 2016 CDI Moscow on Friday 26 February have caused some major shifts in the Ranking. Also in Wellington, the freestyle scores have reshaken the cards for several riders.

In Moscow Inessa Merkulova sealed her position at the top of Group C with an 82.204%! But for the ranking list it was the second place of Marina Aframeeva and Vosk with 76.780% that changes the qualifications. That puts her on 955 points, ahead of Beata Stremler of POL with 943 points as of today. To be seen how the scores in the Special or Freestyle in Moscow may change this still further on Sunday.

In Florida Lars Petersen DEN also went up the points chart to the same 955 points with his Freestyle score of 76.4%, that could give Denmark its fourth team place. It knocked Jorinde Verwimp out of thetop-6 ORL qualifiers for now, setting the minimum qualifying score at 953 with Goncalo Carvalo of POR.

Later today the Freestyle in Jerez and tomorrow the Special….
