The 14-year old Hanoverian mare Diva Royal (by Don Frederico x Warkant) has become a first-time mom of a chestnut filly on 1 March 2016. Veterinarian Dr. Vaske assisted the maiden mare in her first, succesful foaling.

Diva Royal was member of the silver medal winning German team at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Under Dorothee Schneider the black Hanoverian finished 7th in the Olympic Kur to Music Finals.

Three months later, in November 2012, owner Stella Charlott Roth won the Piaff Forderpreis Finals in Stuttgart for Under 25 riders.

It was the last show appearance of the horse. On 18 January 2013 Diva Royal got injured at the equine clinic, where she was for a routine
operation. When the vet removed the nose twitch from a sedated Diva Royal, she had an accident and never fully recovered fitness.

Diva Royal was bred by the Dutch warmblood stallion Dreamboy (by Vivaldi x Ferro) last year and now gave birth to a filly, named Dignidad.
