Dressage Performance Centre Lodbergen (DLZ) will be presenting two major premiers during its 2016 Spring Breeders Meeting on Sunday 10 April 2016.  This open house day, which starts, at 11h00, will include the under saddle presentation of the highly talked about new stallion Frascino as well as the first presentation of the Trakhner stallion Herakles under Lodbergen head rider Therese Nilshagen.

Frascino is the exciting new addition to the 2016 Lodbergen stallion roster. The KWPN, Oldenburg and Westfalian licensed stallion (by Furst Wilhelm x Don Frederico) has gorgeous looks and exceptionally strong basic gaits. He is closely related to Kristina Bröring-Sprehe's World's Number One Desperados and  Nurnberger Burgpokal finalist Harmony's Don Nobless. Lukas Fischer will be presenting Frascino.

Therese Nilshagen will be showing the Trakehner stallion Herakles (by Gribaldi x Michelangelo) for the first time in public. The reserve champion of the Trakehner Stallion Licensing, riding horse champion and elite stallion candidate Herakles is being trained for the Grand Prix level movements by Nilshagen. Before that the team of Dorothee Schneider took care of the training of the pitch black nobleman. While Frascino will be up for stud for the first time, Herakles has already produced highly coveted offspring.

"Both stallions are a valuable addition to our stallion roster, not only because of their genetics but also because of their movement potential and rideability," said Lodbergen managing director Urs Schweizer.

A third new, prominent addition to the Lodbergen stallion program should not be forgotten: Royal Doruto. The multiple Oldenburg regional champion, sired by Royal Hit x Rubinstein out of the world famous Trakehner mare line of Blitzrot, recently won the Prix St Georges and Inter I in Timmel, Germany, under Lukas Fischer. Royal Doruto has now achieved 20 victories at S-level. His offspring is no less impressive.

At the 2016 Spring Breeders Meeting more fantastic stallions will be presented: the double Oldenburg champion stallion For Romance (by Furst Romancier x Sir Donnerhall I), who has recently began competing at S-level as a 7-year old, the Oldenburg licensing and regional champion Follow Me OLD (by Furstenball x Donnerschwee), the Westfalian licensing champion Rock for Me (by Rock Forever x Florencio) and the Hanoverian champion and Bundeschampionate bronze medalist First Ampere (by Ampere x Weltruhm).

Our business partner in The Netherlands will be presenting the Grand Prix successful Uphill at the breeders meeting. The 9-year old international Grand Prix shooting star Dante Weltino OLD (by Danone I x Welt Hit II), who recently finished second in the Grand Prix Kur at the 2016 CDI Herning, will also be demonstrating his abilities at the meeting. They will be commented on by expert Olympic champion and riding master Klaus Balkenhol.

"We will again present to the breeders several, successful breeding products of our stallions," said Schweizer. "It is the best proof of how our stallion reproduce."

Jan Tönjes will be the announcer at the 2016 Spring Breeders Meeting. The DLZ team and Urs Schweizer will be available for all your questions and for advice.
